The Alchemy of Alice' Tapestries - Alice's Tapestries designs
and manufactures award winning tapestry bags and accessories.
It is our handcrafted pins, elegant beads and sumptuous tassels
that create the unique alchemy of Alices's Tapestries bags.
My mother, my sisters and all my friends who are my test market
tell me the most wonderful stories. They are stopped on the
street by strangers, or their bag was just the icebreaker they
needed at a party.
Every bag is handmade and the buttons are created by Alice’s
Tapestries by Alice and her assistant, Stephanie, at the workshop
in Colorado. Please go and see our buttons/pins page so you

Our “Passport” Bag
is a terrific light day bag or special occasion bag.
Its 9” x7” dimensions hold more than
you would think! This is our most popular size and
makes a great gift. It travels flat in your suitcase
as an extra bag for your travels. We sell these
to all ages and often those gift hunting come back
for one for themselves! The pictures don’t
nearly do them justice. Excellent Quality.

B) WOW-Bright and cheerful fabric this bag is
durable and fun, just great for the winter cruise or your spring/summer
wardrobe.
C) Sumer Haze is a bag of beautiful blues and
dashes of the softer colors of the rainbow. It one of our more
neutral bags interestingly enough. Elegant and unique with our
signature handcrafted pin and swishy beaded tassel.
D) Yellow Quilt-Sorry, currently out of stock.
E) Aegean- Is just lovely and has the most
beautiful blues. It also has pinks and greens and lavenders hinted
through it. It goes with so much (even black!)

of this oh, so popular bag. Very soft and traditional it is one
of my personal favorites.
G) The Burma Passport with its soft texture and
butterscotch, mossy greens and soft yellows colors will warm your
heart and your wardrobe. A new companion to the Aegean bag in a
new color wash.
H) The Bermuda Passport is one of my favorites.
It is one of our most elegant bags with lavender, blues and a gorgeous
yellow. It is offered with a yellow strap and tassel or blue strap
and tassel. The handcrafted pin and beaded tassel are the crowning
glory.
I) The Tropics Passport is
a hardy, colorful bag and fabulous with denim. It is my very elegant
mothers’ favorite bag. She says it goes with everything that
falls out of her closet! J Reds, blues, greens, purple each bag
is unique and different. It is a great all year bag and goes with
everything!! Can’t beat that!

Our “Flap
Bags” (12” x 11” with
a 50” strap to wear across you for easy on
your back. It is our everyday bag with a big security
zipper pocket to tuck away your valuables. It
has a great shape and lined with the amazingly
durable and elegant crown moiré taffeta.
These bags are very light weight, but durable and

and has terrific colors for the earth tone wardrobe. Its butterscotch,
mossy greens and soft yellow colors will warm your heart and your

I love the yellow featured in this bag it is a soft butter yellow
and sky blues and a periwinkle color you see in early lilac bushes.
It is sure to be a conversation piece. My friends say they are

It is machine washable. Lightweight and durable. It is also a great
wearable art piece. I love to decorate this bag blending my clays
to match and compliment the colors. I named it Aegean, because
it reminded me of the colors of the Aegean Sea.
