Alice Monroney was trained in marketing and sales by a Fortune 100 company, TRW, Inc. now part of Northrup Grumman, before her creative incarnation as handbag designer. She was a career "automobile" girl. Selling cars in Savannah, managing a classic car dealership on Hilton Head Island, SC. There Alice was Hilton Head Rugby Queen. Alice left the automobile business in 1985. From 1985 to 1995 Alice worked a myriad of professions including, corporate sales and mortgage lender. In 1995 she founded Alice's Tapestries.
